Norman has spent 30 years as a commercial real estate broker helping hundreds of business professionals find the right location for their businesses and expertly negotiating the operative business structure of tenant-protective leases.
He began exclusively representing dental tenants and buyers in all phases of the acquisition process on a nationwide basis in 2001. His representation centers around three major components that make a dental lease a powerful asset to the practitioner: Location and space finding, Negotiation of Letters of Intent, Dental lease review, and expert negotiation of the operative business framework of dental leases – all prior to final legal review.
He developed a highly successful Location Logistics System for helping dentists in selecting a strategic location. He’s been negotiating contracts for his entire business career. He is an expert in negotiating the best dollar-saving economics via the Letter of Intent, typically saving the dental client 8% – 12%. He consistently leverages his vast knowledge about Dental Real Estate through his laser-focus lease review and analysis. He negotiates the operative business structure of the dental lease to safeguard the practitioner’s capital investment. This structure includes many tenant-protective agreements, while expanding the practitioner’s rights and providing flexibility for future growth and is separate from the operative legal structure of a lease.
Norman (along with his wife, Pamela) have been contributing authors to the Austin Business Journal since 2001. The articles contain expert advice on many commercial real estate issues, while focusing on the complexities particular to dental and medical leases and purchases, as well as how a seasoned tenant broker is pivotal for risk protection and maximizing dollar savings.
Norman served two terms as a board member of CCIM. He is currently serving his second term as a board member of the Capital Area Dental Foundation.
